Scootaloo

soooooo. I got an embroidery machine from Santa, and am *slowly* learning how to use it. I made a Scootaloo for my 4yo DD, and tried out the filly pattern by , mane, tail, and eyes designed by me. I'm not too big a fan of the minky I found at Joann, so I will be trying out the Cuddle 3 from Shannon Fabric next time, I think. 

I'm having a hard time getting the hooves flat (even if I smoosh them on the table). I think I might be cutting the hooves too large for the leg openings; if anyone has any tips to get some flat hooves, it'd be much appreciated

Oh, and as happy as my daughter looks in the picture, the next morning, she told me she hated the Scoots plush, and it has sat in the corner of her room all by itself for a few days now. I have to admit, my heart broke when she told me that. I know, I know, she's only 4...but still. I freaking made her a plushie. GRRR.
